A mobile device is an electronic communicator that can be held in a users hand. It's a handheld digital communication tool. They can connect to the internet through wireless technology. Most are capable of broadband connections through Wi-Fi hotspots or 3G and 4G mobile communications. Mobile Devices include Mobile Phones, Smartphones, Phablets, and Tablets.
Netiquette is the social code of networks in general and the internet specifically because the internet is a network and etiquette is a social code. Netiquette comes from the combination of network and etiquette. A network is a collection of computers that can communicate. The internet is a collection of computers that can communicate. Mobile phones are as well. Etiquette is a social code according to contemporary standards. Internet etiquette is a social code according to contemporary standards. Therefore, Netiquette, the combination of network and etiquette, is the social code of the internet and mobile phones because the internet is a network and so are cell phones with their own conventions for communicating.

Mobile Device Netiquette Rules are the rules users follow when talking on their cell phones, surfing on tablets, and looking cool on their phablets. The rules of netiquette for mobile devices center around the customs users follow when the device is in their hands. Answer: Using a hands free device and texting are digitally distracting. Hands free devices allow your hands to be free. Hands free, has nothing to do with the level of mental distraction. It has to do with the level of physical capability.
Using a hands free device can be more distracting for many reasons. It may give the user a false sense of security creating more of an engagement in the electronic device. This engagement could cause an accident. Furthermore, hands free devices limit your hearing in one or both ears. Limitted hearing in one ear makes a person off balance.
