If your doing research for an English paper or participating in an online class it's all online learning. Many people use the internet for online learning purposes and some classes require it. Netiquette, network etiquette, is the social code of the internet because the internet is a network and etiquette is a social code. The internet is a network because it is a collection of computers that can communicate digitally. Etiquette is a social code because it uses contemporary standards as a guide for the rules.

Therefore, Online Class Netiquette is the social code of courses taught completely or partially on the internet because netiquette is the social code of the internet and the classes are taught on the internet.

Netiquette: 1. Derrived from the words network and etiquette, it is the social code of network communication. 2. The social and moral code of the internet based on the human condition and Golden Rule of Netiquette. 3. School is social and education is how society is ordered. Since there is no face to face interaction in an online environment social interaction can be done on discussion boards.

Online classes are taught for everything. The common techniques of posting messages, collaborating on homework, and taking tests are the rules of online class netiquette. Each class has different netiquette because each class has a different social make up and netiquette is social.

Online classes have many benefits and one big drawback, there is more work involved. The benefits of online learning are tremendous. Taking an online course allows you to study when you have time, which facilitates a busy life style. You can study at your own pace. If you want to move ahead of the class you can without impacting your classmates.

It includes teachers and students at all levels. Web Based Training (WBT), Internet Based Training (IBT), e-courses, and online classes, are names used to describe it.

Teaching, learning, and practicing netiquette require discipline because standards are built on consistency. We must be disciplined in our education to use correctly. Proper netiquette is taught at accredited institutions everywhere. Schools are turning to the internet to compliment classroom education. They are also using online education as a low cost alternative to classroom instruction. This makes practicing proper netiquette a requirement to get a good education because you will not understand the class if you do not communicate effectively. It is easy to fall behind in online education and hard to catch up. Top

Question: Whether or not the internet should be used to supplement traditional learning?

Answer: Attacking a pesons character on the internet can be done in a blog post or some other form of social media. Public figures have to take it, but it is cyber bullying to everyone else. Attack the problem not the person.

Answer: The internet is a great learning tool because of the many resources the variety of web pages provide. There are encyclopedic pages and instructional ones and everything in between.
